A Chef with a Passion for Flavor and Culture

I have been working as a Private Chef for more than 15 years, with very good references and recommendations. Life has led me to live in very different places, almost all on the coast! Sea and sun are extremely important for me, swimming and diving make me tick 😊

I have worked on large yachts, private and charter, which have taken me mainly around the Mediterranean. The Balearic Islands, Sicily, Italy´s Tyrrhenian´s coast, France, Greece… I have lived in Gran Canaria, Palma, Dénia (where I had my restaurant for 2 years), Madrid, the Basque Country, and traveled to Tokyo, Fez, Venezuela, Colombia, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Hungary, Senegal… all those countries and gastronomic cultures have left a mark on my kitchen.

I love the textures and colors in the dishes. Each dish has its own personality and has to vibrate, make you feel happy, at home or travel with your imagination and gastronomic memory. The great fresh produce found in our markets, the wonderful olive oil, the fish markets and all that offer of fruits and vegetables that I have found in my last home, the Costa Tropical (Granada).

The Joy of Working as a Private Chef

It makes me very happy to work as a Private Chef. Each client is a new experience! The possibility of meeting many different people, from different countries and customs, and the closeness to the client and instant feedback.

Embracing a Diverse Clientele

I work with many foreign clients, whether they come to visit or have settled in the area. We have a panoply of “guiris”, (fondly), very special in this area. They interact, learn the language and appreciate what this area of Spain has to offer them.

Refined Tastes and Authentic Dishes

Did you know that the brava sauce has no tomato in it? That the yellow colour in the paella is too often due to coloring and not the use of saffron? That paella mixta traditionally, doesn´t exist? Authentic Spanish dishes have a lot of elaboration, let me introduce you to the real Spain.

To that end, I hold various cooking workshops in a beautiful cortijo with fruit trees.

I greatly enjoy teaching, giving tricks and helping with the best local suppliers.
